12/11/2003 Entry: "Good Riddance to PC pool week,"

PC pool week was a mild success. I changed the lesson plan for each class as I went along, and the results were astonishingly varied. The classes that went well went very very well, the ones that didn't just blew chunks.

The interactive chat had some interesting moments. I saved the transcript of one of the better ones for sake of posterity. Not all classes took to it, though. In fact, some just went ape. Oh well.

The Little Wee Diary--Day one.

Goodbye Sunday's Sarah, see you in January. I am to take care of my buddy Sarah's rabbit while she is stateside. It should be easy enough; food, water, change the cage once a week, etc.
Unfortunately, the rabbit -- Little Wee is her name -- seems to be ill. She has a tiny spot on one eye and favors the other. She has balance problems and runs around in circles. She has little zest for stomping her little paw and has become much easier to catch.

So I have to give the little fella eye drops and spike her water with dope. The vet gave here a shot, and did not seemed to alarmed, but offered no 411 on what she has and if/when she'll be well again.

So, just in case the rabbit croaks in my care, I thought I best had a log of how she progresses everyday. Hence the Little Wee Diary.

Little Wee's official name is "Wee Man" despite the fact that she is not a man. The vet also said she has a "Gleichgewichtsstörung" and "Augenschaden" in the left eye, as well as an "Augenentzundung", though not too serious.
