Little Wee Diary escapes the "more" section.

Wee and I are having a lovely Saturday. What with the shops open this morn, I went down to Plus searching for hay. They didn't have it, but the petshop did. Three bucks, ouch. But it was worth it because one of the cages at the shop had several cavies and a larger grey hare. One of the guinea pigs was literally riding on the back of the hare. That was very cute.

I brought Wee's cage back into the computer room and constructed a sort of barricade across the middle of the room, so she can't get to the tasty cable salad. Left the cage ope and when I brought out the new hay she went ape. She hopped around in circles, hopped out of her cage, hopped around, hopped back in the cage, and so one.

She's in a much better mood nevertheless, seeing as she was so cranky this morning when I went and caught her at six. Maybe she was hungry, or maybe because I let her sleep in the unheated room.

She's munching on a big ole leaf of iceberg lettuce quite contentedly.

Anyway, I thought I'd do some woodshedding so I found the fingerpickin' tab to Alice's Restaurant (kiiiid,) somewhere on the internet. While I was searching I stumbled upon a fun little site about the Chicago 7 conspiracy trial. Here.

I found that quite interesting, because even though I read Jerry Rubin's book I never was really clear on the details. Some of the court transcripts are pretty lively.
