Yes, Lil Boots digs his catnip. In fact, he goes ape for it. It is a sight to behold. The little guy says adamantly "miow", with more emphasis than when he wants outside. The little punk strikes out with extended claws to slash the bag like a junkie. "Miow!". He rolls around and licks the stuff with such veracity, I don't know if I should envy him or pity him.

As I witnessed this for the first time, I said to Lil Sarah that it would be a completely different vibe if in lieu of cat we juxtaposed a 40ish balding man wearing nothing but cutoffs, rolling around like Lil Boots do.
But oh how I would love to see what Lil Boots sees in those moments of intoxicated revelry. Does green still look green? Is Up really fish and a saucer of milk? Can he see through the Ether? Does he see other dimensions and grasp in his little mind the folly of the great the wise and the prodigious? Do the universal truths that Mephisto so foppishly peddled before Faust appear before Lil Boots like mere putty in his velvety paws?
