Michael Motorcycle Appreciation Day

On this day in 1973 Michael Motorcycle was born. He is my older brother, and every year on this day we observe the Ceremonial Gloating, where he says to me, "and now I'm two years older than you again. Nyaaa," when Mom isn't looking.

A talented child actor, Michael Motorcycle acted in film with the likes of Michael Caine, Pierce Brosnan, and that guy who played Max Headroom's real-world counterpart.

Michael Motorcycle is also a talented lawyer, and a partner in a firm in the capital of South Carolina.

Michael Motorcycle is married, has two sons, and a golden retriever.

Packing
But I'm not packing. I'm going through boxes and boxes of stuff that have accumulated over the years. And I'm looking it all over again before throwing it all away.

On the inside of an empty packet of cigarette papers, below a quote from Wilhem Busch, I found a handwritten url: icdlbooks.org. Looking it up, I remembered hearing about this site five or six years ago on NPR, but never went to it. Hmmm.

In other news,

I'm slowly in the process of sorting out the videos I took in Paris. So far I just have this one, where we encountered a really tacky American athlete training for the Tour de France.
