06/23/2004 Entry: "ckelly caption contest"

And now for some lowbrow (reads: crude) humor at the expense Cologne's second best-known odor: the Kelly Family.

"Ha ha ha... he got his thing caught in his fly."

Why does the Kelly Family deserve my scorn? They don't, other than they have a successful career in music and I do not -- albeit a career singing songs to their countrymen in a language the listeners won't really understand, much less appreciate; they actually have my respect for being able to do what they want to do.

But I mean, really, give a break to me (tm).
Out in the fields/ where the farmers grow bread/ when called for the meals/ they took for the shed/ then dark came to fall/ and silence was all/ a beauty shone bright/ surrounded by light
Yech...

Anyhoo, seeing as the last caption contest went so well, anyone care to submit a caption?
